NOTHING! Novaskill aims to offer all Tradie Ladies Training at NIL cost to its participants. We’ve worked hard to partner with the NSW Government to do the best we can to find funding and grants that enable us to offer this course 100% FEE FREE to all students.
Our courses are open to enrolments from any aspiring Tradie Ladies that have already left school.
Each participating Novaskill branch aims to run Tradie Ladies Training twice per year, depending on demand.
Novaskill aims to pair participants with local employers that are looking for apprentices, however if there is someone you know, or somewhere you would like to go, please let us know and we’ll be happy to work with you to make that happen.
Upon successful completion, all learners will receive a Statement of Attainment, which lists all 4 units of competency. They will also go onto your USI register for future reference.
Usually our courses cover 4 nationally accredited units of competencies. Generally they are;
CPCCWHS2001 – Apply WHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry
CPCCPM1015 – Carry out measurements and calculations
CPCCCA2002 – Use carpentry tools and equipment
CPCCOM1013 – Plan and organise work
Tradie Ladies Training doesn’t target any specific industry. It has been purposely designed to offer fundamental skills to any aspiring trades person. The 4 units of competency that are covered have been taken from the Certificate II in Construction Pathways course and can be applied to any trade.
